UK Delivery Information
Before prescription items can be sent out, they must all be cleared by a prescriber. Please keep in mind that if you choose express delivery, this will start from the time the prescriber approves the item. It can take up to 72 hours from the time you place your order, but it usually only takes a few hours.
The amount of postage and packing you have to pay will depend on how much the items you order cost altogether and which delivery choice you choose, if there are any. Just before you confirm your order with us, the screen will show you how much the mail and packing will cost. If you buy more than one thing, we may send them out separately. If this happens, you will only be charged one postage and packing fee.
Someone aged 18 or more will need to sign for medicines. You can change the arrival date or send the package to a nearby parcel shop through the courier's website or app if no one is home to sign for it.
Your order can't be left with a friend or in a safe place, though. They will try to deliver it three times before giving it back to us.
Friday at 2:30 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m. are the last times the items can be sent the next day. From Monday to Saturday, all deliveries happen.
The North of Ireland & Scottland
If you ask for Next Day Delivery, Royal Mail or DPD may change it to a 2-day service because of the distance and the way the package needs to be transported. Given this situation, we are unable to offer any returns or compensation since this is not due to any delays on the part of Clear Chemist. Sending something to Northern Ireland through DPD will cost £14.99, and it should get there in two days.
If you place your order by 11 a.m., express and special delivery items will be sent to you within two business days. If you need your order quickly and it's AFTER 11 a.m., please call customer service at 0151 203 6535 before you place your order, and we'll check to see if the item is in stock and can be sent out that same day. Please don't email because those accounts aren't checked often, so your request might be missed.
Please note that our next-day delivery service is not guaranteed, so we will not be able to give you a refund if it doesn't get brought the next business day.

When you get a package, you have to sign for it. If you can't be at home during normal business hours, you can give us a safe delivery address where someone will be there to sign for your package. When the goods are brought, you must be there to sign for them. If the delivery doesn't go through, the courier or postman will leave you a note. You have three business days to call the number on the card or go to your local Royal Mail collecting office and let them know what happened.
